Nashville, TN (February 19, 2009) – The UK-based, RIAA Certified Gold-selling, GRAMMY-nominated and Dove Award winning band Delirious? releases its live CD/DVD, My Soul Sings, March 16 on Sparrow Records. Known as forerunners of the modern worship movement and as one of the industry’s best live bands, Delirious? recorded its brand new live CD/DVD in front of 12,000 fans in Bogotá, Columbia, South America.

Before taking a break from touring and recording at the end of this year, Delirious? takes its fans on a journey with My Soul Sings. The album showcases 14 songs and 16 newly filmed fan favorites spanning the band’s innovative 15-year history. It includes music from the early days of the band, like “History Maker” and the worldwide debut radio hit “Deeper” (King of Fools, 1997), and “Bliss” (Mezzamorphis, 1999), as well as songs from its “middle phase,” such as the radio hit “Rain Down” and the church service favorite “Majesty” from World Service (2004), and “God’s Romance” (Glo, 2001).

The music of its later years on the CD/DVD focuses on Delirious?’s most critically acclaimed album to date, Kingdom of Comfort (2008), and includes “Kingdom of Comfort,” “Break The Silence” and the title track, “My Soul Sings.” These songs were written following the band’s newfound commitment to social justice, sacrifice and compassionate ministry, and formed by recent tours that have taken Delirious? to some of the poorest countries on earth where the band members faced encounters with life that made poverty personal.

Delirious? grew out of the UK “Cutting Edge” youth meetings in the early 1990s and the success of its songs carried the band around the globe. Having released 14 albums and sold nearly three millions recordings, the band also sparked seven Top 40 general market UK chart singles and two Top 30 general market UK chart albums. Delirious? further traveled to more than 25 countries in 2008 alone, and will hit 10 countries in 2009, with upcoming US concerts in Denver, St. Louis, San Antonio, Tulsa, Anaheim and more.

Over the last decade, Delirious? has closed for the Pope in front of a million people in Germany, played in front of hundreds of thousands in India, headlined the 2004 Olympic Celebrations at the Omonia Square in Athens, Greece, toured with Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams and Matchbox 20, and was a headline performer at SWR3’s Arena of Sound 2004 music festival, where more than 80,000 fans filled the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart, Germany.

Delirious? is regarded internationally as the galvanizing force that changed the face of worship worldwide and currently has 14 songs on the CCLI charts that are sung by millions each week in church services globally. With its music being played and sold in over 100 countries, the band has also been honored with two Gospel Music Association International Awards.

Delirious? is lead vocalist Martin Smith, guitarist Stu G, keyboardist Tim Jupp, bassist Jon Thatcher and drummer Paul Evans.
